The news is passing under the radar because of everything that is happening in the world, but Meta and Google lost a very important court case: sued by a woman who accused them of having harmed her mental health, because they intentionally built addictive social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), they were found guilty by a Los Angeles court.

Social media should be a place for media and sociality, not for scams, soft p0rn, fake news and radicalisation. I'd rather see a comeback of kitten videos than the cr@p we are served now.
